Troms fylkestrafikk's mobile app allows you to purchase tickets in advance for buses, express boats, and ferries operated by Troms fylkestrafikk.

Troms Ticket requests access permission for the following functions:

<ul>
 <li>Position: Access to precise location while the app is in use. This is necessary for Troms Ticket to automatically suggest the appropriate ticket zone based on your location. If location services are disabled, you can still manually specify the ticket area.</li>
 <li>Telephone: Access to view phone status and identity. Although not utilized by Troms Ticket, similar source code may be employed by public transport companies in other regions.</li>
 <li>Contacts: Permission to read your contacts. While not utilized by Troms Ticket, comparable source code may be shared with public transport providers in other areas.</li>
</ul>

Other functions include:

<ul>
 <li>Read sync settings: Necessary for automatic updates of period tickets with control codes and current information.</li>
 <li>Run foreground service: Utilized for ticket purchases and application enhancements.</li>
 <li>Control vibration: Employed for notifications (when available).</li>
 <li>Control NFC data transfer: Utilized for reading travel cards (when available).</li>
 <li>Run at startup: Enables viewing notifications (when accessible) and updating tickets.</li>
 <li>Have full network access: Utilized for receiving error messages and data from Troms Ticket's backend.</li>
 <li>Use biometrics and fingerprints: Used to confirm ticket purchases.</li>
 <li>View network connections: Provides real-time error messages in case of network issues for prompt user notification.</li>
 <li>Prevent phone from sleeping: Ensures secure communication between the device and Troms Ticket's backend system.</li>
 <li>Play Install Refer API: Utilized to track app adoption rates.</li>
 <li>Receive data from the Internet: Communicates with Troms Ticket when purchasing and downloading mobile tickets.</li>
</ul>
